Server & Network Security

Our solutions are hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS). They provide state-of-the-art security for the physical network and their data centers: this meets industry standards, including SOC, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.

Data Privacy

You own the data that you capture and provide to us. We store your data with AWS in accordance with local laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and we offer you flexible options to address your individual data storage protocols.

Encryption

We encrypt your data, both in transit and at the endpoints, and we maintain detailed activity logs.

Authentication

Application Security

We update the security of our application regularly. Your data is encrypted both ‘at rest’ and ‘in-transit’. We do not store your data on the client-side of our application.

FAQs

 

How long is visual data stored?

Data storage varies depending on the application and use cases. In some use cases, the metadata is stripped from the footage and immediately deleted and in other instances, organizations require a visual reference for auditing purposes. We will adapt our solution to how your organization expects data to be handled.

If recognisable images of people are being captured, how long is the recognisable data stored within the S3 bucket before being anonymised ?

Unleash live does not apply any facial recognition machine learning algorithms to detect individuals. We do not seek to capture any Personal Identifiable Information from video footage. Where people are being detected for analysis, we capture the person as an identified object, without any identifiable features. If required, face blurring algorithms can be applied to further protect the privacy of individuals that appear in videos.

What options exist to get visual data into Unleash live?

Video can be manually uploaded in to the platform or imported from Google drive for ease and speed, therefore all analytics output will be post-processed. Alternatively, we connect to cameras directly or via your IT and/or VMS solution of choice and directly ingest video for real-time processing and outputs to be generated. We work collaboratively with our customers to ensure data integrity and safety through firewalls and VPNs if required.

Who has access to customer data?

When an account is first activated, we require authorized personnel from the customer’s organization to be the master administrator. Unauthorized individuals do not have access.

Who are Unleash live’s customers?

Unleash live is an Australian company and incorporated and registered in the United States of America. Our investors include Venture Capital firms in the United States, Europe, and Australia. Our board consists of high profile individuals in the technology and telecommunications field. For more detail, please refer to our website.

Does the data have to be stored in Unleash live, or can we store it in an AWS account?

Yes, we have instances where customers opt to store their data in their own AWS S3 bucket, however, we recommend customers consider this option after a well established business implementation.
