New Features

As part of this new Autofly release, we are pleased to announce the following features implemented to enhance our client's workflows.

This release includes the much-awaited update for in-app updates. Users will now be prompted from within Autofly to update their Autofly app once a new one is released. Users will find this notification in the device selection page and also the unleash live icon within Autofly.

Additional new features include:

1. Added option for imperial measurements to be used throughout Autofly.
2. Additional features to support M3T:
   • Added change to thermal palettes
   • Added thermal video feed split
   • Added ability to measure spot temperature by clicking on the video feed when thermal lens is active
   • Updated video interaction handling events: exposure/focus settings in zoom and wide lens mode
   • Updated video interaction handling events: temperature measuring in thermal mode
3. Updated video interaction handling events: exposure/focus settings in zoom and wide lens mode.
4. Flight logs screen now tracks synchronisation across different teams. Users now see flight logs that are synced across different teams.
5. Collected images now contain additional information about user, device, team and company that executed the flight.
6. Additional media information added: user/device/team/current mission/current task/current job. Full list of metadata fields below:

Bug fixes

• Fixed issue when the map is full screen, left drawer open and the video feed box is cutting a menu list
• Fixed an issue where an empty Actions key in mission JSON caused images to be taken incorrectly.
• Fixed known issue with failed file syncing after multiple token refresh events. Now sync flow will wait until token is refreshed and will resume syncing failed files.
• Fixed issue with incorrect synced files filtering on download from drone stage.
• Fixed deleting files from drone if user has “Auto delete files from drone” ON when syncing from Autofly screen. Previously there was an issue that after download phase, when drone is not in media mode, the selected optional delete operation couldn't be executed.
• Fixed issue with duplicate media uploaded with different users and the same media list.
• Fixed internal bug with showing multiple notification toasts at the same time.

Considerations:

If you are still using old Autofly Smart inspect missions and they don't execute as intended please reach out to us for the updated version.

Known Bugs:

• When in full screen map mode in Autofly, the Unleash live menu is cut off by the small video screen in the left corner. In order to have access to the full menu please use the menu when in camera view.
• If max distance or max altitude is enabled in the Quick settings menu within Autofly, the user will need to close and reopen the quick settings menu in order to see the text box in which they can enter the max height/ distance they wish to use.
