Prism — Capture

Connect virtually any camera. Define what matters. Monitor at scale.

Prism is hardware agnostic — connect IP cameras, CCTV, drones, mobile devices, industrial cameras, and VMS-integrated feeds without replacing existing deployments. One camera can run multiple computer vision models simultaneously, generating different insights for different teams from the same stream.

Camera Connections

Connect IP cameras, CCTV feeds, and VMS-integrated sources without replacing existing deployments. Prism ingests streams via cloud, edge, or hybrid — whichever matches your site architecture and data requirements.

  • IP camera and CCTV connectivity (RTSP, ONVIF)
  • VMS integration for existing video management infrastructure
  • Edge-connected cameras via Streamer Box (cloud or on-premise processing)
  • Contextual sensor data via MQTT and Modbus for environmental context at edge
  • Connection health monitoring and stream gap detection

Asset & Area Registry

Define the physical assets and areas your cameras monitor. A monitored asset could be a single piece of equipment — a crusher, a conveyor, a substation — or a camera covering a broader area such as a site perimeter, haul road, or processing zone. Either way, it carries a structured record.

  • Asset and monitored area definitions with structured attributes
  • Camera-to-asset or camera-to-area assignment
  • Geospatial location per asset or area
  • Full detection history per monitored entry
  • Classification and tagging for filtering and portfolio-level reporting

CV Model Assignment & Configuration

Assign the computer vision models suited to each asset class or monitored environment. Configure detection parameters, confidence thresholds, and operating conditions — so Prism surfaces what you need to know, not everything the camera sees.

  • Model selection per asset class or area type
  • Detection parameter and confidence threshold configuration
  • Day/night and variable environmental condition handling
  • Model version control and deployment management
  • Shared model library for common industrial asset classes and environments

Alert Rule Configuration

Define the conditions that move a detection into an alert. Multi-condition rules, severity classification, and routing by role, asset, or site — so the right people or systems receive the right information at the right time.

  • Multi-condition alert rule definition
  • Severity classification and escalation paths
  • Notification routing by role, asset class, or site (email, SMS, mobile push)
  • Integration alert routing to SCADA and operational systems
  • Maintenance window and suppression rule management
  • Full alert configuration audit trail

How it fits into the Prism workflow

Camera & Asset Setup is the foundation of every Prism monitoring program. Every downstream capability — live monitoring, AI detection, analytics output, and alert routing — operates on the cameras, assets, and parameters configured here.

Workflow position

  1. Capture
  2. Monitor
  3. Detect
  4. Act

Outcomes

  • Faster deployment — connect existing cameras and assign models without infrastructure replacement
  • Consistent monitoring quality — standardized model and alert configurations applied across every asset of a class
  • Complete coverage — every monitored asset and area defined, configured, and tracked
  • Audit-ready configuration records — every model assignment, parameter change, and alert rule logged and traceable

Next: always-on live monitoring.
