Drone Operations Specialist

A field-based drone operator to execute customer inspection projects across the U.S., capturing aerial data for AI/computer vision workflows while managing field operations and equipment.
What you'll do
- Conduct drone flight operations supporting customer inspection projects
- Capture high-quality aerial imagery and video for AI workflows
- Travel to customer sites for field execution and data collection
- Coordinate with customer teams and internal project stakeholders
- Plan missions and prepare equipment before deployment
- Operate drones in compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations
- Maintain flight logs and field documentation, and validate data quality before departing sites
- Troubleshoot field equipment issues and support workflow improvements
What we're looking for
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (or ability to obtain before deployment)
- Commercial drone operating experience in outdoor field environments
- Ability to travel frequently for customer work
- Strong attention to detail for standardized data capture
- Professional communication skills with field teams
- Excellent organisational abilities for documentation
- Valid driver's license and ability to transport drone equipment
- Willingness to work in remote locations and variable weather
