Head of Enterprise Sales

Position Summary
This position is a unique opportunity to build a sales function from the ground up. You will be tasked with identifying and working with new customers to understand their business challenges and demonstrate how our solutions will deliver. As a young technology company, the role requires a strong entrepreneurial individual and will suit an ambitious, self starter who has the drive to build a pipeline across a diverse (unexhaustive) set of verticals including, mining, government, infrastructure and power utilities. You will be an excellent communicator who knows how to engage, negotiate and build lasting relationships with stakeholders across the full spectrum of an organisation, while working closely with the wider team, drawing on internal resources to achieve the financial outcomes setout in our annual business plan. You will have an excellent track record of selling enterprise SaaS solutions or experience working with one or more of the verticals listed above. Your primary goal will be to win new business. Responsibilities
  • Accountable for reaching & exceeding revenue targets across verticals and evangelizing Unleash live offering to key clients
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of Unleash live product portfolio
  • Maximising new business development opportunities across key industry verticals by developing specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all the company’s products and target markets
  • Develop relationships with strategic partners, resellers and customers
  • Forecast monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets on a timely basis
  • Provides quarterly results assessments of sales productivity
  • Creative lead generation initiatives through the use of direct mail, email marketing, external networking events, trade-shows, luncheon seminars, and cold calling
  • Leverage crm tools to build and manage a pipeline of strong opportunity leads with high forecast to accuracy
  • Develop and refine commercial proposals for distribution to prospects
  • Explore business models and seek innovative ways to scale the sales opportunity
  • Demonstrate and present the Unleash live offering to prospects via in-person or web meetings to generate sales
  • Formulate all sales policies, practices and procedures
  • Educates the broader business by establishing programs/seminars in the areas of sales and growth, sales of emerging products and multi-product sales, improved presentation and demonstration strategies, competitive strategies and commercial/financial issues on contracts
Experience
Essential / must have
  • 5 years + of Sales management experience
  • Strong management, analytical and planning skills
  • Sales experience in any of the following Knowledge verticals (mining, government, Power industries, Infrastructure rail and road, construction
  • Relationships with top decision makers at companies within the verticals of interest.
  • Proven track record of reaching and exceeding sales revenue goals
  • Demonstrated ability to perform well in a highly dynamic, rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Great team player
